Acupuncturist
Nikki Caturia is a dual licensed Acupuncturist and Registered Nurse with experience spanning a wide range of clinical settings including orthopedics, critical care, product education, IV vitamin infusion therapy, and ambulatory surgery centers. Throughout her years working in Western medicine, she had the privilege of caring for many patients with her nursing philosophy always being to treat the person as a whole and not just as a symptom. Nikki repeatedly encountered individuals who found little to no relief from conventional western and pharmaceutical treatments. Too often, she witnessed medications creating additional complications or having no effect at all, rather than true healing.
Driven by both professional curiosity and personal health experiences, Nikki began searching for effective and holistic options for patients who felt underserved by traditional approaches. Acupuncture became a turning point. Through her own experience as a patient of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Nikki realized that acupuncture was the missing link for many patients whose conditions were not adequately addressed by Western medicine alone. Inspired by its profound impact, Nikki shifted her focus to pursue a career in acupuncture, which is complimented by her nursing background and has expanded the care she can offer to her patients.
Nikki trained in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine at Emperor's College of Oriental Medicine in Culver City, California. Today, she integrates her extensive nursing experience with acupuncture to provide patient-centered, integrative care focused on addressing the root causes of dysfunction and supporting the body's natural ability to heal.
Away from the clinic, Nikki enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures, hiking, long walks, and listening to podcasts or audiobooks.
