Lymphatic Drainage in Bozeman: The Lymphatic Roller
A self-guided lymphatic drainage machine that supports circulation, muscle recovery, body contouring, and stress relief, in sessions short enough to fit any schedule.
Support your body’s natural flow
Your lymphatic system works quietly behind the scenes, clearing waste, excess fluid, and inflammation from your tissues. But unlike your blood, lymph has no heart to pump it; it relies on movement, muscle contraction, and pressure. When it falls behind, you feel it: puffiness, heaviness, slow recovery, that general sense of being backed up.
The lymphatic roller combines three things to get it moving again: rolling massage, self-guided pressure, and infrared heat to warm and soothe muscles while you work. Together they do mechanically what a lymphatic drainage massage does by hand, in a private, self-guided session. We’ll show you exactly how to use it your first time, and after that you'll have it down.
And the roller isn’t working alone: every massage and acupuncture treatment at HIVE assists the body in creating flow. The roller just makes it a session of its own.
What it helps with
-
Swelling and water retention.
The most common reason people come, and the one where they feel the difference fastest.
-
Muscle recovery.
After hard training, travel, or long days on your feet, moving fluid out means bouncing back sooner. Athletes tend to become regulars.
-
Body contouring.
Reducing fluid retention smooths and de-puffs. The effect is real, though it's temporary and cumulative with consistency, which is exactly the kind of honest fine print we'd rather tell you ourselves.
-
Stress and tension relief.
The rhythmic compression is deeply calming. A fair number of patients book 30 minutes of it the way other people take a coffee break.
(If you have a history of blood clots, heart or kidney conditions, or active infection, check with your doctor before booking. If you're not sure whether the roller fits your situation, call us and ask.)
Thirty or forty-five minutes, your call
Sessions run 30 or 45 minutes. Wear comfortable, snug-ish clothing (think leggings and a base layer). Hydrate before and after; the whole point is moving fluid, so give it fluid to move.
Pricing: 30 min · $50 | 45 min · $60 · Massage members save 10% on every roller session.
The flow stack
The roller works great on its own, but stack it with the rest of HIVE and everything moves better.
With massage
Before or after a massage, and in between. Going first helps you find your focus.
Before the sauna
Roll first to get things moving, then let the sauna heat do the rest, passively.
Between acupuncture
Between acupuncture visits, the roller is the maintenance your acupuncturist will love.
Quick questions, quick answers
-
Just like exercise, massage, and acupuncture, the best results come from showing up regularly. A good starting point is 2–3 sessions per week for 4–6 weeks, then adjust based on your goals and how your body responds. At 30 minutes a session, it's a smaller commitment than it sounds.
-
Comfortable, snug-ish clothing; think leggings and a base layer. Please remove all jewelry before your session, and skip anything with buttons, zippers, drawstrings, or hardware that could catch in the roller.
-
No. We’ll show you exactly how to use it your first time, and after that you’ll have it down. Sessions are private and self-guided.
-
Drink plenty of water, move your body throughout the day, follow any recommendations from your practitioner, and pay attention to how your body feels. The whole point is moving fluid, so give it fluid to move.
